Summary
As the Business Development Manager at Tailorversity, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities that align with our core services in web design, branding, and talent acquisition. You will work closely with internal teams and prospective clients to create long-term value and strategic partnerships. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong background in sales, client relations, and business strategy, capable of driving company growth through innovative approaches.
Duties and Responsibilities:
New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by generating leads, networking, and building relationships with potential clients in need of our web design, branding, and talent acquisition services.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and they remain satisfied with our services.
Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage strategic partnerships with complementary businesses that can drive mutual growth and expand Tailorversity’s reach.
Sales Strategy: Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow the company’s client base, with a focus on long-term, sustainable relationships.
Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities to keep Tailorversity competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the creative and operational teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations that align with client needs and showcase our unique value propositions.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with the design, branding, and recruitment teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction, providing clear communication on client expectations and objectives.
Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights to senior management, using data to refine strategies and approaches.
Client Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and setting clear expectations for project outcomes and timelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in a creative agency, digital marketing, or web design environment.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing business portfolios.
Strong understanding of web design, branding, digital marketing, and recruiting services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM systems, sales software, and data analysis tools.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
